WHP & CHP: Building Bridges in the Clean Energy Transition

Carbon neutral. Net zero. Science-based targets for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions. How do you get there if your operations still rely on fossil fuels?

One way is to increase the utilization of the fossil fuel resources you use. That’s where waste heat to power (WHP) and combined heat and power (CHP) come in. These technologies harness the wasted energy inherent in conventional industrial processes and power generation systems and use it in a second process. By capturing steam and repurposing it to generate electricity or provide heat for industrial, institutional, or commercial purposes, organizations can improve their energy efficiency, use fewer resources, and generate fewer emissions.

That makes WHP and CHP great options for companies seeking ways to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprint and contribute to the clean energy transition.
